These have a nice slightly textured surface. The molding is clean and fits the contours of the truck very well. They are marked with a Westin badge on the rear of the side that I could have done without. You install them with miles and miles of red 3M double stick already stuck to the inside of the rails. The installation instruction will work in principle but real world not so much. Trying to get the red cover off while placing them on the bed rail top in position is cumbersome. They look great once installed. I also bought the tail gate cap that goes with these. I use them to cover scratches to the bed of a used truck I bought topped them off with a soft bed cover to clean up the look of the old bed. The right side cover was trimmed a little too long on the cab end. It didn't affect the installation it does overlap more than the left side. I could have trimmed it before installation but decided it wasn't noticeable. Nice options for the used trucks looks and would be a good investment in the long term looks of a new truck if that wasn't installed from the factory. They would certainly protect the top of the bed from being scratched and dented. Decent price for what they do.
